I put together a Foldarap, version 1 and now I do not have time to finish up the calibration and tweaking up process.
I anticipate that only 5-10% of work remains before getting this project in fine order.
It does turn on and I have loaded the MELZI firmware on the ATMEGA 1284P chip. I am not familiar with Arduino IDE software that much so I played with it a bit and
at least got the x/y/z axis in ponterface to move. You can send commands to turn on/off the fan and the heaters. The thermistors also work just fine.
Someone with tie and familiarity just needs to do final adjustments and calibration to get it going. I would recommend also changing out the board since this is a Geeetech board which is known to have issues, maybe this is the problem I was having. In any case, here are the pictures of the unit and I would like to get interested parties to make a fair offer. I can ship in the US or worldwide. All the components used were in metric size and I have a list of the parts used and how much they cost. I can send out whatever manuals/technical papers I have accompanying each part.
Also note that I am including the AVR programmer if you need to bootload the ATMEGA chip again.
