Ord Bot 3/8-12 lead nut mod service (no replies)

I bought the Progware Ord Bot Hadron kit. It comes with 3/8-12 lead screws and nuts. AWESOME! These replace the M8-1.25 screws/nuts. In order to save time I had Mike send me the Lead nuts round as they came from Precision Tech Machining (PTM also sells them on ebay). I modded the 3/8-12 lead nuts myself. I made a jig on my cnc router out of mdf. I made a hole that held the nut, made sure it overhung an edge I cut the distance I wanted to remove material. Then marked some small channels where the M5 screws would go and drilled it for some screws to mount the nut in the jig. Then I mounted the nut (use flat head screws from underneath) and held the jig up to a 6X48 sander to make a flat. Then mounted it in a screw clamp, marked, drilled, and tapped the lead for the M5 screws on the flat. Here is some pictures if you want to do it yourself.

I am also offering up the service for $15 and $6 return shipping in the lower 48 US. You get the 14" screws/lead nuts for a Hadron, ship me the lead nuts, I'll mod them if you dont want to, then mail them back to you USPS. Other US or International return shipping rates will be different.

Pm me if you are interested in having me mod these for you. Otherwise enjoy the pictures showing what I did and how you can do it yourself.
