Hey everyone!
I bought all the stuff for a Mendel a few years back and had a blast trying out new things with it. After a while, I decided to go with Greg's Accessible extruder and open x-carriage combo as well as a J-Head hot end. Unfortunately for me after trying to tweak the firmware to work with the new hotend for longer than I care to remember, I just kinda got too busy with other stuff and gave up. I know, shame on me.
Anyhow, it's been in my closet for a while now and while I had planned on dusting it off and playing with it again at some point when I had more time, I need to sell it to pay for a trip to the dentist, fun, I know.
So, as for price, I have no idea what to list it for lol I've been out of the game for at least a year and I'm sure a lot has changed so I will list all the stuff I have with pictures and I'll start taking offers. Also, I can't stress enough that it's not in perfect working order so I would recommend this for those who know what they're doing. Nothing is broken, I want to emphasise that. It may need some new belts or some new printed parts but for the most parts everything is still in reasonable shape and everything you need to start printing is there too. Electronics still work, hot end is essentially still new, same with the heated bed.
It is essentially a standard Mendel with the following exceptions:
- GEN6 Electronics
- J-Head Mk IV-B hot end for 3mm filament
- Gregs' Accessible Extruder
- Open X carriage w/ linear bearings
- PCB Heated Bed
It addition to what's listed above, it also comes with the following extras:
- 2 spare heat resistors for J-Head hot end
- 1 spare thermistor J-Head hot end
- original hot end for 3mm filament
- original hot end for 1.75mm filament
- thermal compound
- high temp silicone
- kapton tape
- temperature gun
- extra sheets of glass for print bed
- alternate style heated bed (heaters mounted underneath bed)
- 3 M8 linear bearing
- assorted 3mm filament
- 2 1/2 lbs (approx.) of black 3mm PLA (not pictured)
- 3 lbs of black 1.75mm ABS
- standard Mendel extruder and X-carriage (not in best condition but included because, why not?)
Anyhow, enough of all that. Please feel free to make me an offer and if you have any questions I'll do my best to answer them, as I said, I way behind on my Reprap knowledge lol Thanks for having a look!
