At www.andromedabots.com we have created a new kind of reprap controller board. It is fully compatible with open source software such as
pronterface.
Here is a short list of what this controller offers you;
Easy interface with 2.4" touch screen LCD and 6 buttons
Control your DIY machine with your TV remote (Yes, it has IR receiver! )
Power it directly with computer PSU (via ATX24 connector)
Connect 2 heatbeds and 2 hotends simultaneoustly (3D printing)
Control up to 4 servos
SD card support
5 axis controler (X, Y, Z,Extruder1, Extruder2)
Smoke, flammable gas and carbon monoxide sensors
Adjust position of 2 electronically adjustable endstop switches
Power 2 LED lights, 2 fans and possibly even laser crosshair!
Emergency shutdown if smoke/flammable gas is detected
View current usage of individual stepper motors.
Measure air pressure and air temperature
Very flexible with a lots of possibilities to upgrade or modify for your application.
