MillRight CNC is debuting their first model for as low as $299 without router and mount. It is available with homing switches and some other upgrades for not too much more.
This is a pretty capable desktop CNC machine for the price. We have gone as far as making light cuts in 6061 aluminum with it. It has a moving table design and about a 10.25" by 10.25" by 2" working area.
