If your going to knock off Hotends.com design, why not at least do it with the most recent version? This version has serious thermal creep issues.

Some cheap J-Head copies have been known to be fragile and unusable (filament get blocked inside after some while).

Tejal, what kind of testing did your hotend model undergo ?

Do you offer any insurance ?

Yes, we have had some very bad experiences with recent J-head clones, people are not going to waste their time on a design unless you have some members in the community actually saying it works, how well and what the issues are. (Every hot-end has issues, it's better to be up-front and state them)

And since you are leading with the price, that does not look like a good start for most of us. If it's not a good hot-end you could not pay me to use it.

The design looks a little like a cross between a Mendel-parts V9/10 and a Very old j-head MK-I / II. Why the modifications? to make it different or to improve it?

Why do you have such a long threaded brass section at the top, if it's to help compress the PTFE tube, that's just a poor design. if it's for mounting, why? and how do you make sure the brass does not get too hot and jam the filament.

What speeds have you tested it at?

Does it have a melt chamber?

What length is the nozzle hole? (That's a very specific question, length, not hole size)

It sounds like I'm interested, I'm not, just learn how to launch a new product.

Any reason for deleting the post Tejal about your new hot-ends?- (J Hotend @ $49.50 in stock !!) (4 replies)

This is the second time I can remember Tejal has removed a post people have bothered to put time and questions into, what's the point of having an open forum and allowing people to promote items for sale to the community if they can just remove stuff whenever they feel if it's not to their liking?

Any admins out there that want to put the post back and lock it so Tejal can't just delete things that ask relevant questions about a product?

You don't seem to have learned anything at all, if you don't like the community asking questions, don't post stuff for sale.

I really don't know why I bother some times.

ORD Bot Hadron Complete Kit for Sale (no replies)

I have an ORD Bot Hadron 3D printer kit with Pre-Assembled RAMPS and Dual Extruder from QU-BD

Completely unassembled, unopened, in a box as was previously sold here - only this is the version that was sold in September, it has a Lava bed and I believe the original QU-BD Dual Head: [www.automationtechnologiesinc.com]

I've never had the time to put it together, and just have too many things going on now.

Selling for $1,050 including US Shipping and including a 1kg Spool of Green PLA 1.75mm - If you're in the Portland, OR area can pickup for $100 less.

I can take payment by money order, check if you are willing to wait for it to clear, or paypal/amazon payments (if you use a CC I'd ask that the buyer pays the fees - 2.9% I think). I'm only looking to recover less then what I have in these items. I'm pretty firm on the prices as I'm not looking to make anything here.

If interested you can email me at ekettenburg at digistump dot com
